About Us

Scott Brandon is the owner and founder of Brandon Lighting. Scott has run a successful seasonal Christmas lighting company for over 30 years. As a young child, Scott was obsessed with Christmas lights. As he grew into his teenage years, he built Christmas light displays on his parents home that were so impressive they won several lighting competitions over the years. The neighbors began asking him to put up their lights and in 1990 while Scott was still in high school, he started installing Christmas lights in the Broadmoor area. The seasonal Christmas lighting business grew every year simply by word of mouth and spread all over Colorado Springs. Scott went on to work as an electrician for several years while running Brandon Lighting. Scott’s son Nick was born in 2002 and at age 7 started to work with his Dad. Scott and Nick continue to grow the business and in 2018, the business had grown large enough that Brandon Lighting LLC was born. 

In 2020, Scott discovered Gemstone Lights, a permanent solution to Christmas lights and a lighting option that offers so much more. Gemstone Lights are architectural lights, accent lights,  lights for any holiday, Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Easter, the 4th of July, Halloween, Memorial and Labor day, Thanksgiving, special events, your birthday or your favorite football team! They can be completely customized and the best part is you can turn them on whenever you want with your smart phone. You have built in daily timers or yearly timers so once the system is programmed, it will run for you all year long.  

Today, Brandon Lighting is no longer a seasonal business. We operate all year long installing Gemstone Lights. This lighting system is the future of Christmas Lights and architectural home lighting. Brandon Lighting is excited to offer this to our customers. Our goal as a company is a very happy and satisfied customer.
